André Pujadas
André Pujadas is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of OnePlanet Recycling, an advanced materials recovery processor specializing in end-of-life solar panels. With more than 25 years of leadership across heavy industry, André has built a career around launching, scaling, and optimizing high-performance operations—ranging from greenfield steel mills and alternative iron processes (DRI, HBI) to complex ferrous and non-ferrous recycling systems. Prior to founding OnePlanet, André held senior executive roles at PSC Metals, Severstal North America, and Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE), where he began his career under the leadership of industry legends. At Nucor, he advanced to Plant Manager of the company’s DRI facility in Trinidad (Nu-Iron) and later served as Executive Vice President overseeing international operations. Most recently, André acted as a lead technical advisor to Big River Steel (NYSE: X) following his successful leadership of PSC Metals through its strategic divestiture from Icahn Enterprises to SA Recycling. Known for his expertise in electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking, raw material strategy, and complex industrial turnarounds, André has been at the forefront of deploying first-of-a-kind technologies across both legacy and emerging industrial sectors. André holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

What Sets OnePlanet Apart
Purpose-Built for Solar, Not Adapted from E-Waste
Unlike competitors using modified electronics recycling equipment, our facility and processes are purpose-engineered for solar modules from day one. This means higher throughput, better material recovery, and more reliable processing.
R2v3 Appendix G: Chain of Custody Certification
We're one of the only solar recyclers with R2v3 Appendix G certification, providing legally-binding documentation that supports ESG reporting and regulatory compliance. Every module's materials are tracked from arrival through final disposition.
Logistics Optimization Expertise
Our team leverages deep relationships across the transportation industry and expertise in module packing configurations to deliver cost-competitive solutions nationwide. Through optimized shipping configurations and lowest-cost transit route identification, we often achieve substantial logistics savings compared to standard freight approaches—making OnePlanet competitive even for projects outside our immediate geographic area.
Industrial-Scale Infrastructure
With 65+ years of combined experience in metals recycling, manufacturing, and finance from Nucor, Goldman Sachs, 3M, and DuPont, we've built systems designed to process millions of panels annually, not thousands.
